Genovese Sauce

Serves: 2 (as dinner)
Pesto sauce½ Cup
Onion, Finely Chopped1
Onion, Finely Chopped1½ Cups
Milk1 Cup
Fresh Cream4 tbsp
Cheese, Grated3 tbsp
Butter3 tbsp
Salt & PepperAs per taste
Pasta200g Pastallio Pasta (Elbow Macaroni / Pipette)

Method

  • Heat butter in a pan and sauté the onion in it till onion turns translucent.
  • Add the mushrooms and salt and sauté. (about 3 minutes)
  • Add the Pesto sauce, milk and cream. Mix well. Bring to a boil while stirring continuously.
  • Add the boiled Pastallio Pasta and cheese and salt as per taste.
  • Serve hot.
