Tomato Alfredo Sauce

Serves: 2 (as dinner)
Plain Flour (Maida)1 Cup
Butter2 tbsp
Milk2 Cups
Tomatoes, Puree1 Cup
White Wine (optional)1 tbsp
Cheddar Cheese, Grated¼ Cup
SaltAs per Taste
Pastallio Pasta (Elbow Macaroni/Pipette/Penne)200g

Method

  • Heat the butter in the pan add the flour and sauté while mixing well.
  • Add the milk little by little and whisk with ladle till the paste is smooth. Try to make sure no lumps are formed.
  • Add Tomatoes' puree. Mix well and bring to a boil.
  • Add White wine, cheese and salt and mix well.
